Both adult and infant Baptism are provided for in the Uniting Church in Australia.
A Service of Thanksgiving and Dedication is available for parents who wish to allow their children the option of choosing to be baptised later in life.
The Rite of Confirmation is available to adults who were baptised as children but wish to confirm their decision for Christ as adults.
In the Uniting Church in Australia, these services are conducted as part of a regular Service of Worship rather than as a separate private service.
